|  1/5 track kits on a xl?
Anyone have experience with the 1/5 track kits off eBay? I am trigger shy on shelling out $800 and it not working

They look pretty gnarly but the things I'd be worried about would be weight and added drivetrain stress, assuming they even fit correctly.

Those would look mean. I wouldn't bother if you're not willing to fabricate brackets for them to fit. They won't just bolt up.

From a cursory look, it appears the only thing you need to fabricate is a way to mount the shock onto the axle/knuckle. We have seen someone bolt up 5th scale wheels onto the XL so it would appear that you could get that part sorted out.
