Default plastic pivot balls

Got my kit today and was reading the manual and learning. Did a Google and Flea Bay search and did not find but 2 or 3 steel ones. Anyone come up with a solution for steel pivot balls?

Go get some RPM end link.. and traxxas sells the end balls with their small end links.. Rob the pivot balls from one kit.. and put them together with the RPM kit.. and POOOF!.. I have done this for most of my XL and the longer RPM end links and traxxas pivot balls give me a ton of adjustment and smooth operation.

Wich ones? I measured the steel pivot balls from my Slash 4X4 and they are smaller than the YXL ones. I searched the exploded views on traxxas site and they don't list the actual ball size. I even tried checking part numbers for end links on A-Main but they only list what the rod end fits not actual ball size.

The steel ones from Dhawk on eBay work great. You will need three sets of 4 to replace them all.

Dhawk has shipped quickly for me. Everything I ordered came in two weeks. Not bad coming out of China.

HPI 86144 are direct replacement steel hollow balls. And you can have them way faster than two weeks.
