Nice. Let us know how it goes. I can't get one yet. When i hit the rock head on testing how it jumps in my maiden run the bumper hit the bar support and collapsed on one side. I am not going to pull this thing apart to replace the bulkhead until i have to.

Has anyone else run this or the HR version? I'm trying to eliminate some of the mid speed traction roll. Mostly in the grass I have to slow down a lot before turning.

That may be a decent lil upgrade to keep all 4 tires plated in a sharp turn...

Im thinking it will also help with touque twist as well! A front sway bar seems as though it would add resistance that will keep the right front tire front coming up

It would for sure. Right front tire 6" in the air without the rear sway bar and 2-3" with it. The better forward momentum gained by having the sway bar and it not allowing the Left side of the chassis to twist is the reason the Right wheel doesn't come up as much. Throw in a Front sway bar that will keep the arms in check will nearly eliminate it all together IMO. That will aid in traction rolls etc. l also guess suspension tuning will need to be done as it will be a different animal after the Front sway bar install.

Torqe twist starts in the ass, and moves forward. It may help some though.

Stiffer springs in the rear eliminated 95% of my TT to the point my XL just does wheelies now if I'm too fast on the throttle.

I am trying to figure out a way to offset my rear upper links as well, like I used to do with my old AX10 comp crawler

Yup. There a few ways to deal with Torque twist for sure. On my SCX, it was to mirror the tranny. In my Wraith i run 40w oil and a stiffer spring on the Left front. It never ends.

Yea I ordered it too, installed the firm bar and ran it today. Unfortunately the design for the swaybar connection to the front bulkhead is not beefy enough. Either that or I overtightened the set screws. The plastic cracked right away and the bar popped out of place. But I'm not sure how the swaybar will stay attached to the bulkhead if they aren't tightened enough. I don't know, you guys see for yourself. I was running it ever so gently on some bumpy dirt terrain.

That sucks! Another reason for an aluminum bulkhead. I guess I'll wait until Dhawk releases their bulkhead before I install mine.

The Hot Racing design mounts to both the front of the bulkhead and the lower hing points on the front bumper. Mine tore out of the bulkhead as well, but the bumper hing attachment has held.

"hinge" not "hing". Check out the pictures here. Is there a piece missing from the Axial setup to do the same thing?

I broke my swaybar tabs with the bumper support when i hit a rock head on landing after a jump. The tabs IMO wouldn't hold up to the force this thing will generate. The bulhead is just to soft as we know. Cmon aluminum bulkhead already.

If thats the case then it wouldn't matter which kit to go with, it will rip the bulkhead regardless, HR kit is cheaper than the Axial both come with 3 torsion bars.

Ok don't laugh. I decided to go ahead and try the swaybar. I did not bother with the grub screws in the bulkhead. I used a part from the Axial light bar kit. It's a lttle redneck rigged but it works so far to keep the bar in the bulkhead slot without breakage.

No laughing. Nice ingenuity there. A lot better than Axial did.
