Thats a stamped steel gear! I"m not sure what you're dealing with damage wise, and I'm not sure what you have looked into yet, but see if this will help out any....minus 3/4 the grease used in the vid...LOL! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtTOxcgPrfg |

Used avid revolution ceramics and the Dawk spacer as well. Have a small chunk missing off the bottom side of the housing. I remember landing on a tee marker from about 5' in the air. Probably self inflicted now that I think about it. Thanks for your time

Holy grease!!! All that mess is going to attract dirt! My rear is stock plastic with fast Eddy bearings and the Dhawk spacer. It's shimmed for no play and I have small sections of fuel tubing in the drive cups to keep the drive shafts hexes from rubbing and hitting the lockouts. The shafts are also shimmed at the lockout bearing. I have many 6s packs through this set up. I was thinking that If my stock rear breaks in any way then I'll get the Vanquish rear. But so far the stock rear is a very solid piece and pretty cheap to replace if it gets too chewed up. |
