No. Ran mine today and my daughters is waiting on one last parts shipment to get it drivable.

Got the last bit yesterday. Hopefully have it running this next weekend. All that's left is a set of Barndog panels.

NA we are good. I only have every other weekend and plenty for her to bash till it is done. Should have all electronics done and driving by Sunday. If I don't screw up with my soldering. crossing my fingers.

I say the same thing every time I have to solder! For as long as I've been doing this, you'd think it would be second nature... Not! My 12 year old usually has to step in and take over!

So I run the yeah racing heat sink on my YXL no problems. I used the HR motor mount. Guess it doesn't like the stock motor mount. Well another parts order.

Almost done. My partner in crime is passed out in her easy chair. All the electronics are installed and tested. Barndog panels were ordered yesterday and new motor mount should be here this week. She was a trooper not too many distractions and found soldering very neat. Lost interest quick with getting all the wires in that tiny box.

Thanks. She loves those damn stickers. She already picked out a ton of em from the sticker drawer to put on. I will have to step in and thin the herd on this. If she had it her way the body panels would be made of stickers.

Got the LAST parts order today. Worked out perfect as I get Wednesday nights so she got to open em tonight . She was so excited like Christmas. Got the HR motor mount too so it will be a driver this weekend. next weekend we will get the panels painted and she can BASH it. I can't wait.

Love this thread (Except for your accident) I too have been in the hobby for a long time. Even before my kids were born and they are 22/19. So they have been part of it their entire lives. My son and daughter both love the hobby and we still take out 4 or 5 trucks and bash together. Keep us posted on how her her XL looks and is running.

Are they better bashers that there ole' Man ? LOL that's awesome !! My kids love bashing/crawling too!! We've only been into it for 3 months tho... We've ALWAYS done everything together... $hit we put 11,000 miles on our RZR4 and it looks like the same with Rc's..

We got the barndog panels painted this weekend. went to the auto parts and the paint section and I turned her loose. No surprise we didn't end up with green as she first chose it is close though. Two weeks and we will have the grand unveiling. No peeking till then.

Here it is. She had to have the Squid stickers. Have to wait a couple more weeks to go out as everything is mud from all the rain.
