Hi to all Iīm new here to forum and this is my first post to show you my YETI XL and the future mods i have planned in the long run for it... First an foremost the the pics... At the moment iīm waiting for parts and unfortunately i donīt have have many yet but i will show what i have... A parallel charge balance card to cut charging time of the batts... A led kit...( not yet installed...) Axial optional parts, led bar and bucket set... CC Blower and Traxxas TQi with TSM and Traxxas link Two 6000 Mah 2S 90C batteries... with respective covers... Suspension soxīs RPM Tower and A-Arms Axial Front Sway bar... and LST XXL2 Shocks with respective covers For now thatīs the only mod iīve done, the LST Shocks...learned in this forum... Itīs and improvement, but still not enough... The Axial front sway bar itīs a bit disappointing (...OK its totally disappointing ), first it grabs on the bulkhead with just two screws, second it fastens on plastic...just ridiculous. After a little tinkering... this was the result...but for me not good enough... I thought to make a dual suspension, for each A-Arm, for a more scale look and function, to prevent the bottoming out of YETI front...pics in a nearby future, just waiting on parts... As i receive new parts i will update the post with new goodies... |

Thank you all, iīm a bit of a follower of you both and ford freak, because of the XL mods, great ideas... The torsion bar does not work, a few jumps and it came out of place, seemed nice at the moment... Version 2.0 is a bit different... a bit crude but it works, doesnīt come out of place... I thought that the sway bar would be, on the stiffest setting, strong...but it isnīt, it continues to bottom out... Well...back to the drawing board... |

If you're looking for an alternative sway bar I've been running the HR front sway bar with success so far. My only 2 complaints 1. It attaches to the bulkhead and has already cracked the plastic ring on the bulkhead that the screws go in to. Doesn't seem to affect its function too much. 2. It was missing some hardware that was easily replaceable. I've been running it on the medium stiffness and it does wonders for stability and rolling. I was jumping it pretty good last time I had it out and the bar came out of one of the A arms but nothing was broken and I think that was more user install than anything haha.
