Default New to the AYXL

Hi all
I have just bought the yeti XL kit. Was Pretty impressed with the size of it. So I hooked up my ZTW motor /Esc and gave its first run and proceed to strip the wheel ha ha newbie mistake not checking my wheel nuts . Luckly I had some truggy wheels and man it goes running on 6s. So while searching for some information came across this site . Lots of good information.
I am making up a list of up grade parts
The alloy steering rack
The proline f11 wheels and some shockwave 3.8 tyres.
Rpm front arms
Then replace parts as I need them ( or break them )
Looking forward to gathering as much information and hopefully sharing my up grades with the XL
Cheers

I stripped a wheel on day one too. I have found it beneficial to add a second 17mm nut to each wheel to act as a lock nut. Also HD gears are a must-look at the BHB HD Gear mod thread on hear-lots of good info

That's why I am going to give the proline wheels a shot. I ran 3 packs of 6s through the proline truggy wheels and didn't have a problem with the wheels coming loose

I use caplugs I order off ebay part# 15X you have to trim to fit depth wise. I order used ones when I can as they are perfect just not the new price.
