Default Is there enough demand for another XL vehicle?

Is there a market for another Axial XL vehicle? I for one, would buy a Bomber XL or Wraith XL in a heartbeat. I just don't have much interest in 10th scale vehicles after being blessed with my Yeti XL. What do you fine folks think? Will we see another XL?

That would be my Christmas wish come true this year.

A Yeti XL score is likely already possible, though not an official release or anything. It wouldn't take much.

I wouldn't want mine converted but a BHB Bomber might be a possibility.

If there is nothing in the works from Axial by the time us Northeasterners start to thaw I may contract you for something. I'm hoping your metal guy works out.

Well if Axial dose Hopefully they'd take a couple of notes...

MOD ONE internally / externally

Quality / appropriate specked bearings

Pinion dust guard or pinion bushing

XT90 or XT150 connectors

A Appropriate sized ESC .. Castle Rated the Vangaurd AE-3 RTR for 9lbs...But mines been pretty damn tough !!

3channel Tx !!!

A real Servo 250oz. min...

PINS not RTR screw shafts AX31232

5mm+ shock stems with adjustable height cub/rodends

LOCKING 17MM WHEEL HEXES THAT LOCK INTO THE WHEEL WEBBING

A two speed that actually EXIST from Axial

Possibly a Diff cup/ Transmission concept like Tony Falcon cane up with... Eliminates the Slipper and allows the owner to control the traction

UMM... beadlocks

Installing the upper roof cage forward so guys don't mistake the badass light bar for a back break light bar

And not patenting screws...and practice saying thanks to guys that are trying to help out..

Totally with you on not being interested in 1/10 scale. I would instantly buy an EXO XL. Being hard to work on seems to have caused its death, but other than that the EXO is one amazing machine.

Out of curiosity, what kind of pricetag would it carry? Maybe if enough people are willing to contract it out, we can kickstart a BHB XL Custom?

I would love a Wraith XL....Axial already has much of the parts, wouldn't be too much of a stretch imo.

Axial didn't have a Wraith XL so I tried but miserably failed to make one. I would like in order a Wraith XL and then a Bomber XL. Both would have to be true 6S capable and items addressed that are well known. Castle is coming out with sensored 1/10 scale motors so maybe a 2000kv or lower with a MMX.

With all that said as much as I like Axial I would give BHB my $$ first for his conversion kit.

I would love to give BHB the business too. If he could provide factory worthy cnc pieces to convert a Yeti XL I would bite.

Yeah X2.

Getting thoughts of turning my Yeti XL's back into uh Yeti XLs for a Winter project. A nice BHB Wraith XL running around Christmas (yeah I said Christmas) time would be fun instead.

How are the 2 chassis parts secured together? I see the cut point. Do you have metal plates?

Im using a poly plate for the bottom skid plus adhesion the two FULL sub-tub together... I'm also making a upper rail that has ball bearings pressed in on the ends for the torsion/traction bar assemblies.. The rail bars will sandwich the two sub-tubs battery surfaces together ... I show the dry fitment breakdown in my Bomber XL youtube video Both sub-tubs are full sized... No cut-N-paste CAD ideas ... Two Full Chassis sandwiched together
