|  Rear Body Mount
I'm looking for some suggestions: after running into some serious mud I took the YXL apart to clean it, and I managed to lose one of the two little plastic clips that screw on to attach the roll cage at the rear, where it hinges. I can get a new one through Axial, but it means buying AX31010 which includes half of the roll cage as well, which I really dont need. Any one have thoughts about alternative ways to attach the body at the rear? I could just use zip ties, I guess, but I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a better solution. Thanks! |

If you look closely there are body post mounts in your cross brace of your rear cage with a hole pre drilled for the shock tower set screw. You can pretty much mount any body.  Far as remounting the yeti XL body all you need to do is cut out a piece of plastic and attach it with two screws for the tire mount location and drill out two holes for the body post. Thanks BHB. I'm just looking to remount the existing body though, and looking to see if anyone has thought of a better version of the existing hinge-mount.

Yeah like I said I'm hoping for something better but zip ties will do the job.
