Default Steering assembly?

I've noticed on my YXL that my steering assembly is quite loose, in a similar way to the 1/10, which I fixed by adding the Vanquish steering set up and thus removing the stupidly and flimsy servo saver.
I'm sure the 1/10 version doesn't fit the XL, so I'm wondering what you guys have done?
I've got a decent servo in it, which off the ground, throws the wheels side to side no problem, very quick and enough power, but under load, the servo saver is twisting like hell and not allowing full throw.
What have you guys done to resolve this?
I've not yet found anything when searching Google, so I wanted to ask

Are you running stock plastic bell crank? If so, upgrade to dhawk aluminum bell crank. You can add a spacer or bearing to the servo saver to make the spring stronger and steer better.

I did the gpm ally one of these 1/8 Axial Yeti XL Aluminum Bell Crank Steering Assembly Arm Rod YTL049 Black | eBay and as u seen in my flex pic..i also added the 2x ally posts....
..... jus by addin the ally rack bit has cut a lot of the flex/play out...plus I did away with most of the loose stupid plastic rod ends for metal ones...but I still thk I could do better with sum new steering arms or atleast the ends to get rid of sum more play.......I will do away with the stock bell crank at sum point...

Yeah the steering is all stock.
For some reason, Dhawk keeps disappearing, removing all stuff from their eBay store, so I've not been able to search for it yet.
