So close! Finally got my motor and electronics ready for install.
I put my wheels on and they rotate in opposite direction. If I roll forward on front wheels rear wheels rotate backwards . If I roll backwards on front wheels,rear wheels rotate forward. Same with rolling on back wheels.
Double checked front and rear gear boxes and they are installed properly, they both rotate smooth as butter independently.
What am I missing?

You put the one of diff's crown on the wrong side. Most probably in the back, the picture in the manual is from below. Rotate the diff 180 degrees and you'll be fine

What do you mean by crown?
Unfortunately your picture did not come through.
I just finished disassembling both front and rear gear boxes, they are built and installed exactly as the manual shows.
I just put everything back together, but if needed I will disassemble and take pictures.

The crown is that thing that pinion rotate on (AX31053). And those are differentials, not gear boxes. Trust me, you install one of the diffs the wrong way

One of your diffs is in backwards. They should be opposite of one another. I think the front ring gear should be on the right and the rear on the left but I could be wrong and it's opposite.

Exactly the other way around

I had the same thing happen. The differential in the rear was backwards. With the truck on its wheels facing away from you the rear ring gear should be to the right of the pinion. In my excitement of building the truck mine was backwards.
If the rear is in the correct spot than likely your front is incorrect.

Thanks guys, I'm going to disassemble and start from scratch. But I just did that and my build looks like step 3 on page 12and step7 on page 14. I also followed fast Eddie's YXL build on YouTube.

Start from the back, that's where people usually made the mistake, The ring has to be on the right hand side when you look from behind.

Oh, and the car has to stay on it's wheels. Maybe you assembled the car upside down! Which mean the right is left and viceversa

LOl! That sounds like something I would do but it's not the case. I don't need to disassemble the rear because I know for a fact it's correct my ring is on the right side with wheels on the ground. I'm going to recheck the front.

So, after all, you were right, the diff was in it's place. The entire axle wasn't! LOL Now let me sleep, it's freaking 3 AM and I'm working tomorrow
