Ok I dare to ask as another newbie,,,, I have read several hours of threads and think this "Deans Plug" is regarding the power pack / battery.... ?

What is the recommended power pack for the Yeti for the longest duration of use and typically how many packs would you have charged to go bashing for 1-2 hours?

Lipo
3s ?
v ?
Mah ?
c ?

Been 25 years since my last RC and I just ordered the Yeti,,, been this long,,, can wait till mid August... I live in a desert,,, so why not...?

Yes it's the plug connection for the lipo battery to the esc, main power basically. They're perfectly rated for this application.

I would say 2-3 5000mah 3s packs, depending on trigger finger. Buy the highest C rating you can afford.

I guess the other factor i didn't consider is the battery pack charger,,,, dual vs single,,, what is a good dependable manufacture?

Duratrax Onyx LiPo 3S 11.1V 5000mAh 35C Soft Case Deans

Duratrax Onyx 245 AC/DC Dual Charger

??? is this compatible with the Yeti ?
.

Hirec X4+ is AC/DC and can charge 4 packs at once. thunder Power T6 can do six packs at once but needs an external power supply. I personally use the X4+

I'm getting around 15-18 minutes on a 2200mah 3s lipo pack in mine. If you're trail running or bashing I would drop in a big 5000mah lipo pack and have fun

SPC LiPo Power, Lithium Polymer (LiPo) Battery Pack; 6500mAh, 65C, 3S, 11.1V Hard-Case

Does anyone know if the Yeti can fit this pack in?

According to the measurements someone else took, it should fit.

I'm going to piggy back on this and say what difference's will I see in the yeti with a 3 cell lipo vs a 2 cell. The only thing I know about it would be speed (if so how much)? How much will it affect power? Will I need a 3 cell to make it up certain terrain or will 2 cell be adequate?

Well, you at comparing 11.1v vs 7.4v . So with 2s being 2/3rd's the power of a 3s, you could guess you'd top out at 21mph vs the 32mph on 3s.

Of course this is just guessimation. More power is better in every terrain situation.
