Default water yeti.. calling all yeti owners

I would love to see / get some feedback if some of you lucky few that have the yeti .

all my rc's have to be waterproof because I run them rain or shine.. rally's crawlers ect.. and a good basher for me must be able to handle mud , jumps , and creak bashing .. so lets see atleast one of you guys give the yeti the beans and beat the everloving shit out if it in some mud and creaks/streams .. it looks like it has a good waterproof set up .. but I cant/wont buy one till I know it will handle it .

thanks to who ever does this .. im sure im not the only one

I avoid mud, I freaking hate cleaning it.

I have ran it through some water, but not a ton. One thing to note is that the tub of the chassis does hold the water and debris inside. Drilling a couple of holes would help let that run out if you plan to do that often.

They paid a lot of close attention to the waterproofing of this car, they planned on that type of abuse.

Several minutes completely submerged. Still works perfectly.

Sorry to bump this but did you check the receiver box after? I'm curious to know how waterproof it stayed?

I did a full G6 with mine and it rained the whole time and it was submerged up to the drivers several times and there was zero water intrusion. You really have to be careful with the silicone plugs. Make sure they are in place when adding a BEC, etc but if correct the compartment stays dry.

The 2spd servo compartment is not waterproof so leave it empty if you plan on doing some swimming with the Yeti.

Copy thanks. Side question, if/after I submerge it once I'm done for the day do I just let it air dry?
