Default Factory open diff with MIP's

My yeti had a Blue Monkey spool in the front when I bought it with MIP shafts. Well I somehow managed to shear the spool off where the grub screw goes through today. I haven't liked how it handled with a spool so I'm wondering now if there is a way to keep my MIP's and run the stock style open diff?

Also on another note i have broken the arm on the servo saver (where the servo connects) twice now in 2 days, is there any upgrades for this?

I'm unaware of any other options to use the MIP setup other than a BMRC spool. That setup has no out drive cups and the MIPS bolt directly to the spool. You may try contacting Matt and see what he says.

the only idea that I would have is if you get some HPI savage diff gears that have the hole in them like these.

I know they will fit because they work with the wheely king and they share the same parts or similar to the exos and scx10s but I do plan on getting a set to run in my wrexo to use the traxxas CVDS

Ended up ordering front universals until I can come up with something different. The universals seem to be a good choice for most?

I've yet to break one but I have bent the hell out of them more than once. It's easy enough to straighten them out for the most part. Just make sure you take the rubber stop out of the out drive cups when you install the unis.
