Default Axial Yeti Kit - Rivas Concepts

I have the Axial Yeti kit. I want to build it right now! I am leaving for Reno for the Birthday Bash now. So I will post an unboxing video later today. I am excited about he upgrades this kit comes with. Anxious to see 2.2 Falkens work with the Icon shocks. Link stiffners look cool. I will post as I can next few days.

When mine arrives it's getting a Dlux wraith housing and maybe a Dlux front housing. A Maxx drive shaft for the rear. Also, going to get some 1,000,000 wt diff oil, maybe some WheelyKing spider gears.

Obviously you haven't run them yet but what's your first impression of those new kit tires? What's the compound like? In the Axial video it looks like they balloon and fold over a lot less then the RTR tires.

Hopefully the new tires don't stink as bad as the old ones!?!? Had to leave mine sitting outside for a couple weeks. Stunk up the entire house and gave us headaches!!!

Supposedly mid to late December is when they will be available. Tower and other places has them on preorder for $330. Makes me wish I waited a tad bit longer. Im itching to build a kit.

Well you got a stock yeti motor and esc to throw in one now hahaha

The plan was to use your combo as a back up. Now it can back itself into a kit and when/if I get tired of mine I'll upgrade to the MMP Tekin. My wallet hates my addiction.

Thanks again for the combo

The Rivas Concepts Garage kicked off the 2015 Tour at the Parker Off-Road Pleasure Palace!

Not sure if he's coming back, but I will forever have the video!

Axial has done a great job with the upgrades that comes in the Yeti Kit.

The Front IFS suspension almost complete. You can see upgraded turnbuckles. Plastic on Yeti RTR.

Rear AR60 remains the same. I turned to shock brackets for lower stance.

For those wondering, the kit tires do not stink nearly as bad as the RTRs.

The kit comes with r35 compound tires which don't usually stink like the r40 compound that comes on most RTR's

Using the Hoy Fab crawler spacer instead of spring. For steering.
