Well got some free time so I installed the steel spur, and hd gears in the front end with some heavy diff fluid for now. Took it out and ran it hard all day on the rocks and toward the end of my run I had my rear mip shaft come apart and I almost lost the male shaft and all the parts! Luckily I found it all and got it back together with some red loctite an left it to cure overnight It was at this point I also noticed I had broken my rear truss somehow and after talking to the man himself I think it broke by dumb luck not a strength issue at all but I will be upgrading to the G10 version (most likely) of the truss once the D-lux knuckles/shafts/locker setup is ready to order again. |

NORMAL upgrades???? I think you should have bought the chassis and all your upgrades and saved the 300$ on the vehicle you have sitting as spare parts! LOL

DTB1 I'm running the stock axial foams still in the ripsaws that came with my wraith kit. They are not even close to up to supporting the weight of this beast though I checked this morning and it's got a case of the flat tires lol. I'm hoping to upgrade to some voodoo u4's soon. That's what I am running on mine and I like them. But I really like the hill climbing performance that the ripsaws have provided on my wraiths. The voodoos are great tired but I feel they may need to be cut for loose hill climbs and I don't like cutting tires. |

Speaking of just buying a chassis though...I laugh at the fact that eventually my chassis will have worn to the point I buy a new one. Heres the belly of this beast after quite a few packs on the rocks, my vp trailing arms are finally starting to stop hanging me up on rocks everywhere and I have not bent a single hinge pin since going to rpm arms and the strc front pin mount!! |

Yours makes mine look like I'm not tapping into its potential at all! I have been considering getting a truss like yours for the rear of my yeti. Did you have to alter your upper links any for it to work?

| Re: Crawler02's axial yeti rtr with the normal upgrades I absolutely love the truss and can't wait to get the stronger G10 version on here soon! I did have to also purchase the D-lux upper links that are a bit longer for the truss wich was my only slight downside as I had already purchased bmrc rear upper links.

| Re: Crawler02's axial yeti rtr with the normal upgrades This is the tire I have in mind when it's time I can't decide if I want to go for the gold or silver compound though. In other news I pulled the trigger and once axial has there yeti front locker off back order Mr D-lux will be sending me out the yeti front housing with the pinion bearing mod done, front locker/ofna shafts/knuckles/hubs and a G10 u4 rear truss that I cant wait to replace the broken cf truss with. |
