| Improve pinion angle by swapping 4 link mounts
Hey guys I thought I would share this. After I got my new link mounts installed I was looking for ways on how to improve the pinion to drive shaft angle. Before the pinion was pointing slightly downwards. So I figured out I could swap the 4 link mounts, keep the lower links on the outside, but move the top links inward. This rocks the rear axle back slighly. Now at mid suspension travel, my pinion is pointing dead center at the transfer case output shaft and is slightly up at full droop. Are there any negative effects of having the upper links mounted inside of the lower links? |

the only bad thing is the pinion angle will change as the suspension moves up and down .

Less triangulation equals more axle swing. If you care.
