Default Seld-M-Bend Xr10 Rear Axles. Now shipping from Aust..

As some of you know I have been trying to develop this new product over the last couple of months. I found on the my third outing that the rear XR10 axles are a bit too thin to hold up to the beating we like to unleash on our crawlers. Hence the Seld-M-Bend rear axle was born (Simpsons Fans will get it)

These new axles are being machined out of high quality Australian 4140 steel with the highest tolerances in mind. The locker is being machined for an as close to perfect fit as possible with the RC4WD spool gear, 6 x 11 x 4mm Boca bearings and Gunnar hex pins.

My goal here is to provide a far superior to stock part that will eliminate as much slop from the rear drive train as possible and provide much needed strength.

The kits will include.
  • Two precision machined 4140 axle shafts
  • Two Boca 6 x 11 x 4mm Green Seal Bearings
  • Two M5 stainless steel lock nuts
  • Two wheel nut spacers for use with VP wheels

I have placed an initial order for 25 sets and should have at least 10 of those in hand before I come to Vegas for Nationals. Hopefully I will have all of them. Wheel nuts, bearings and spacers I am having delivered to the hotel we are staying at and will assemble kits when I arrive.

After that I will refund payments just incase I can not bring the full 25 to Vegas with me and a waiting list will be created. I will know at the end of next week how many sets I will have with me in Vegas.

If you will not be attending Nationals I will be posting them out whilst in the U.S.

Pre Sales are now open and payment can be made to me at

77hxpv@iinet.net.au

I would have liked them to be cheaper. But this just covers costs and a small amount of profit.

$80AUD plus actual post to the Destination Country.

Postage Costs.

U.S.A. $23 AUD
Canada $23 AUD
Italy $28 AUD

As different postage costs are known I will post them up here

Cheers Camo

Pre sales are all gone. If you would like to post your interest here. We can begin the waiting list for the remaining 15 from the first order.

Hey Trent You can order any time you like I have plenty of sets available for postage or from the 2011 Holmes Hobbies Nationals.

I have been beating the snot out of my rig of the last few days here in Vegas and these axles have taken everything I have thrown at them. I have also seen a lot of clown wheeled rear axles at the LCQ so hit me up.

I'm sorry for a dumb question but since the final price is $80 us dollars + actual shipping to USA
Any idea what the actual shipping is?

so will this help my slop problem I'm having with the RCWD gears

Hi,

I have 8 sets left. Price is $80 AUD (paypal will convert for you)
I have not shipped any from Australia yet but I estimate postage to be around $7-10.

These shafts have a lot less slop that the stock shafts when used with RC4WD gears.

When I installed mine, I felt zero slop in the RC4WD spool...

**NOTICE**

Unfortunately due to USPS or the supplier I did not receive the M5 lock nuts while I was in the US so until I can source some more nut stock the axles will be sold with out wheel nuts.

M5 lock nuts if you do not already have some can be sourced from any good hobby shop or Fastener supply for a small charge.

Unfortunately postage costs a lot more than I was hoping. axles are sent Via Registered Australian Post with full insurance. These are the places I have quoted postage for so far as I get pricing for new countries I will update the first post.

U.S.A. $23 AUD
Canada $23 AUD
Italy $28 AUD
