Well theres not many in the central valley, You got modesto hobbies, Oakdale hobbies and all the good ones are in sac or the bay area.

Stockton used to have a few hobbie shops but I don't think there around anymore, Try searching online but i'm sure theres not one in stockton. I think Lodi has one but not sure of the name

Theres also the Toy Castle in the mall in Stockton next to Barnes and Noble in Stockton.

Heading to RC Country this Saturday to get some goodies.How are the prices here? Also are there other hobby shops that might be of interest up here? Now for hobby shops in the bay area what do you recommend?Thanks newbie help

RC/country prices are good but whats even better is that thay really support the rock crawling and scaler comps in the area.

You may need to have a fire extinguisher ready when I start my first course. The age of my rig may be a safety hazard.
