| where to crawl around Monterey
We are visiting the Monterey area for the holidays. My son and I packed up our Wheely Kings. Is there someplace cool we can go to play with them? Are we allowed to use them at the beaches? Thanks,Ryan

Sorry I didn't see your thread sooner. Here is some info and a couple of links that might help. **Nor-Cal Event #5- Fall / Winter Series** Nor-Cal Pacific Grove Comp, Feb. 2008 You can crawl along the Pacific Grove coastline pretty much anywhere from the Monterey Bay Aquarium all the way to Pebble Beach. You shouldn't have a problem with access etc. The only thing they are worried about there is the environment, primarily the tide pools. Don't take anything home from the pools and be careful not to disturb any creatures and you will be fine. The best areas for crawling are at the spot posted on the first link or near there. There is a spot near the coastguard pier in Monterey. It is much higher profile, parking can be a problem and I don't know if you will get hassled there. PG is really the best. PM me if you have more questions. Lance |
