Hey guys...I drive an aspiring-to-be scale rig but I am in San Jose as well. I would love to run with you guys to see some new rigs and people. Min-Hammers is actually a killer scale trail. Here is the link to the Mini-hammers pictures, the GTG was put together by Rckjeep. I was driving the blue FJ40 and sheared an output shaft less than 20 mintes into the run:?... Mini-Hammers

Here is the Google map link to the Nor-cal sites in our area. There are many more that need to be added. Google Norcal sites

I will be gone until next Wed or so, but hit me up if you are going wheeling!

No, Danna Rock park is a totally different place. Look on the Google map and you will see that Mini-Hammers is off of Santa Theresa about 1 mile from Bernal. You have to wheel/walk up the trail you see form the street and take a right when you see the empty water canal at the top of the hill(you wont see the canal until you walk up the hill). You walk about 100 yards on a wide service type gravel road and you will see a pipe crossing the canal. Walk over that(don't fall) and the trail start is straight ahead of you winding up the hill. You will see the downed barb wire fence spanning the beginning of the trail....Looking at the map on google you can even see the pipe crossing and rocky beginning of Mini-Hammers...

Watch out for Dog sh*t on the wide gravel trail. Dog owners let their dogs bust azz all over that thing and just leave it!

The first map you come to will be Danna Rock. If you look to the left on the page there is a list of spots that you could alternately click on to look at a map of that spot.

I just got home from a week vacation so sorry about the delayed response.

Did you guys go? How was it?

I know some people did not care for Danna park (mini hammers) for scalers but I'd like to see it

What do you say we all start there and then about 10:30 ish head to Santa teressa or something ?
