I know it would be a long drive for alot of you guys, but Mike is more than willing to host a comp if your game. I think it's one of the best indoor spots around, especially with the new section we put in recently, and we are coming up with some pretty tough, but fun courses. Just letting ya know. The pics on the first page are pretty old, many changes have taken place as the thread goes on. HobbyTown - Concord, CA Indoor Course - LOTS of PICS! Last edited by gunnar; 08-09-2009 at 09:02 PM. |

Wow that looks amazing! I wish we had a spot like that closer haha. Lets see what the guys say! Can we get a exact location of the shop to calculate drive time? EDIT: just noticed its in Concord. Thats not TOO far for most of us. About 2.5 hours for me. Might be rough for the redding guys though. Last edited by h8z2luze; 08-09-2009 at 11:39 PM. |

Yea, as I said, it would be a good drive for some of you guys. Mike(owner) and the crew have hosted a few comps for the CVRC guys, and they have gone well. I've been coming up with more and more good comp courses, and with some thinking and moving some rocks around, alot more are possible. As you can see in my avatar, we even use the walls! You just can't see the tennis ball taped up above the right front tire.

I go there about once a week and the place is amazing. Everyone there is super nice and did a great job putting it all together. They have tables set up with chairs, just all around good set up with the course and everything. The best part is they have a fully stocked shop the best I've been to |

Just saw their website, yes that CapCity place is cool, I like the split-level layout, and much closer than Concord, looks like that would be a much better rain site.

I posted the map to Bear Hole on the comp thread......sign-ups are looking good. The water feels great and the comp location has plenty of traction. Can't wait to see you all next Sat |

Sounds like fun but we have an NCVRCC comp scheduled that weekend. We'll be at Folsom on Saturday at the Rainbow Bridge. Maybe some of the guys can make it down Sunday. Thanks for the invite............... |
