So I went today and after struggling to find it for a bit, it turns out to be a very cool spot. I took both my 2.2 and SCX and you could drive for days on all the rocks there. The pictures don't really do it justice for how far down it goes.

Tyler (shoe1) and I are going back to confirm it's good for a comp spot. It will be nice to add another location to our usuals.

Got any cross streets for us? I'm trying to find it on Google.

What he said. Thanks Mike. If your going North on Harbor you would make a right onto Valencia Mesa Dr. It looks like your going into St. Judes Hospital but you follow it around towards the back where the tennis center is. There's parking at the tennis center and you can see it right there.

It's nice because there's no poured concrete over the rocks like Allred and the Nature Park. Just a lot of nice granite dumped in there.

One of the reason why I'm sticking to NiMH packs...sorry for the hijack.

I'm planning on hopefully taking a look at this spot this weekend if the weather permits

No problem, i was there for about an hour this morning and had some fun. It's definately more technical driving with the black holes your truck can fall in if you're not careful. Lots of digging and careful driving for sure.

Sorry to hear about your lipos. I have never had that happen to me and I'm lucky because I usualy leave the battery in the truck when I charge them. Might want to change up that strategy. I've heard if you put a clay pot on top of it, it will prevent fire from spreading if it does go up.
