fun time today! that flipping pic is amazing! looks like danny created a monster with his NN. it really hooked up well. the water factor was something to be concerned about, but putting yourself between your rig and the water worked. i was surprised at the amount of challenging lines we were able to find. thanks to pigeonfarmboy for use of his gecko! looks like the so-cal r/c crawl scene is finally coming together. nice to have people show up regularly! ya.... it was great today. thanks for coming out and crawling in some cool weather .i am uploading the video that i took today. I used the Canon 5D today w/17-40mm zoom. I have a 1D as well but for stuff like this I prefer having full frame especially with that wide lens. Sucks though I had my white balance set wrong for all these shots so I had to do alot of processing. Sync, cool video! What do you use to edit/compress? If you happen to have Quicktime Pro I can suggest some compression settings that will bring your file sizes way down. Great to see so much footage of a simple GTG. Can't wait for a comp. |

Damn I still want a funny car....I got to see a man about some money at the crawl.....but it involves me paying 50....idiot parking officials. Let me know the next drag event. I still would like to take pics for you guys. |
