Default Large hobby shops in California

Taking a trip from Oregon down to Marin County, then down to Madera. I want to stop at a large hobby shop that carries crawler and traxxas parts. I mean really good ones... the mothers of all hobby shops.... Any suggestions?

Rc Country in Sacramento. That would be on your way to Madera. It's about 10 min off hwy 99 which leads to Madera

Amain Hobbies in chico has a store front thats not that great, but the warehouse across town is way better. you go in and place an order from their computer and they pick your parts off the shelves while you wait.

haven't been to RPP but i hear good things about their store front.

Jakes Performance Hobbies in Santa Rosa is a crawler shop. talk to MR. V.

Awesome... Thanks guys.... Keep em coming.... I'll be staying near Santa Rosa and Cotati and such... Marin County.. if anyone knows that area, I would get more chance in those areas... But for a mother of all parts shops, (especially price wise too) then I'll stop along the way..... I have heard of rpp but just from eBay.. They do have a lot... I'm also hoping to be able to fiddle with parts for sizing ideas (custom stuff), so I'm not sure a warehouse would be good (though I wish I could just peruse their aisles, plucking parts to try out together )

Here's a followup question.... Any of these places sell used or consignment crawlers/bashers?

Follow up.... I wasn't able to go anywhere except the place in Rhonert Park (just south of Santa Rosa).... But, it was great, well stocked, (for a store front, not warehouse) decent prices, and very friendly people... Not positive, but may have had a consignment car or two.. .Hopefully I'll get to more this summer.

If you are in socal, Pegasus hobbies in Montclair. The biggest hobby shop anyone I know has ever been to.

They should have every Traxxas part ever made in Stock.

The property used to be a gym. They have a nice outdoor track in the back built where the pool was. The pool is still down there if you dig along the walls. There is a small crawler section on the south end of the parking lot up against the freeway. You don't really need to pay because you won't crawl on it very long. Quite boring, even for scales

The owner is cool too. The guys are awesome and nice. It can be a bit of a pain when it's crowded in there but not to bad if you have patience. Otherwise it's great.
