Default Visiting Socal

Hello west coast brethren. I am going to be in the Victorville high dessert area the end if this week and plan in bringing my scaler. Looking for some tips on where I might be able to take it out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Look on this site for Horsemans Park its in Hesperia not to far from Victorville. Also there is Shotgun Alley which is also up in the High Desert off of the 15 freeway and Dale Evans Parkway. Its on the northside of the freeway.

Man some of those spots look sick. I cant wait to get out there an try them out. I will have to see if the rental company has something with 4 wheel drive to get to a couple of them though. Is there any admission fee at Horsemans in apple valley?

Horsemans,tallboys,shotgun alley & most Westcoastcrawlers spots don't require a 4x4.

none of our crawl spots require 4wd that was one of our guidlines when setting up crawl locations, you had to be able to get to it with a Honda Civic and Horsemans is an open park unless reserving campgrounds etc. let us know a potential time frame and maybe some peeps can meet up

That's awesome. I just got through security here in South Carolina and will be there this afternoon. It took me a little longer than usual mainly because everyone wanted to see my scaler.

Really excited about possibly being able to take the rig out today. The horseman'a place looks like it's pretty close so I might try to swing by there before heading to the hotel to pickup the rig.

Well I had just enough time to take a ride out to horseman'a today. Now I can't wait to take my rig out there and concur some west coast rocks. Anything I need to keep in mind while out there?

Had a blast out there today. Ran about two hours until a hard bind managed to rip the tranny mount screws out.
