Just found out that my wife is out of town on that Saturday. I am going to see if my mother-in-law would be able to watch my girls so I can come. Dang it! |

I am a newbi to the crawling, but not to RC. I will try and make it to the place one of these times. Just finished my build, painting the body tomorrow. Any comps or is it just a free for all? Mike p.s. I actually live in Roseville, and I am looking for some local spots. I found some nice rocks in the parking lot area underneath the big red sculputre that is visible from the 80. Off of N. sunrise same parking lot as 24hr. fitness. I am going to try it out. Last edited by mike93; 02-08-2007 at 10:25 PM. |

All you who live in Roseville are lucky, next to the hobby shop. I have to go 45 mins away to it.

Perhaps, but up in the hills you have a ton more places to break stuff than we do. I have to drive to rocks.

Good to hear you're ready to hit the rocks. No official comp, just friendly competition and playing around, so far. | |

You can get there from Eureka or Douglas. Pull into the parking lot of 24hr fitness and drive towards the sculputre. There is a parking lot for the bike trail there and the rocks are right it front, maybe a nice line to drive across could be fun??? Also, a few spots along the bike path and along the creek there. Another place that I took my smaller scale rock crawler with some success was a middle school in Rocklin. I don't remmber the name of the school, but it was off one of main roads that takes you up to the nice homes up on the hills. I will look it up. There was a nice rock/boulder front to the school in the parking lot that was a little too big for my mini giant stretched crawler, but ought to be challenging for the TLT crawler. I will look up the street name. Mike |
