Default rc shops near Los Angeles to San Fransisco

Hi,
i am going on a holiday from Europe, to family in Los Angeles, Rowland Heights, California in sept.

Last time i was in California was in 2010, i wasnt into crawling then.
I visited Pegasus hobbies, wich i am certainily going to visit again. (as it is 20 min. away from my familys home). I dont remember if they have a lot of crawling/scale stuff.

However i am also going on a trip to San Francisco. Where i found Norcalhobbys on internet.

Going to drive the 101.

Also going to some other tourist spots, Venice Beach, Palm Springs, Las Vegas.

Do you guys, have some advice for shops to visit in this area.
THink i am going to shop for Vanquish products, Castle Creations, Holmes Hobbies. Parma bodys.

Thanks.

Marty's hobbies in Thousand Oaks is pretty good, they have an indoor crawler course, and a carpeted "short" course with rental cars available. Continuing North on the 101, the next shop that is bigger than a closet is all the way up in Atascadero, called Hobby Headquarters. They don't have any tracks, but the store is generally well stocked. Beyond that, the only other shop along your route that I've gone to more than once is Sheldon's hobby in San Jose. They have an indoor crawler course and drift track as well as a decent inventory.

I second marty’s hobbies. The selection has consistently gotten better and better over the years.

Thanks, i am certainly going to visit Pegasus, as i always visited them on my trip to Californie. Looking forward to Marty's Hobbies also, because they have rentals, so i can say i have driven in the USA :-) .
Does anybody know if those shops carry Holmes Hobbies en Vanquish products?

No Holmes at Hobby Headquarters nor Marty's, but both of them sell Vanquish, and Marty's sells SSD.

If you find yourself further South/East, I was pretty impressed with the amount of inventory and friendly staff at Dynamic Hobbies in Hemet... yes, I went to Hemet on purpose!

Had a few Dr.'s appointment down South this week and found myself at Ultimate Hobbies in Orange. While their shop wasn't heavily focused on crawlers, their inventory was probably the best of all the shops I've been to yet, and their prices were also better than any online retailer I've come across... I wish I had a shop like that near me! They had a full rack of Vanquish parts, Holmes motors, and Crawler Innovations foams. Tons of crawler bodies in stock too, along with a good amount of Tamiya kits, Proline & Pitbull tires, and plenty of other goodness. Totally worth the detour for me.

RC Country in Sacramento, California has pretty good stock of crawler and go fast kits and parts. They do pretty much every hobby, RC, slotcars, trains, airplanes, static models, scientific kits, kids kits, rocketry, etc.
