Default Axial rear upper link mount.

I've never liked the idea of running short upper links. Having equal length uppers and lowers is a much better set up. I feel it provides a much smoother feel in the suspension. Easier to keep spares in some cases. This upper link bracket will work with the RCP Crawlers aluminum link mount or the TLT link/shock stays.

The biggest plus is it lets you use your stock lower links as uppers. They'll work with the stock chassis as well as some aftermarket chassis's. Once you upgrade to bent lowers, put them lowers up top.

The bracket will also roll your pinion up just a tad keeping your pinion and drive shaft out of the dirt now that you've got bent lowers.

I'll be selling these for $16 each shipped in the U.S.A.

PM me for pay pal info.

Thanks for looking.

Thank you Sir !!!! Appreciate it and look forward to mounting them up as i too always thought the upper links should be closer to the bottom link length

I'm glad you like the mounts. I've been running this style of upper link mount for almost 2 seasons. I really like what it does with the squat numbers on the chassis's I've ran. It lowers the upper links on the axle mount compared to some mounts adding a touch more antisquat on some set ups. Helps keep the front planted on steep climbs.

I'm anxious to see how you like these mounts after you run them a little.

Cool link mount

Any idea if it would work on an SCX10? I know it would mount up just fine, but I'm wondering if it would allow same lenght upper links.

That I'm not real sure on. Sorry,I don't have an SCX10 to do any testing with. It would make the uppers longer than stock. Even if they don't match the length of the lowers, longer than stock would be better

No problem. Thanks i may just have to give it a try. With a little black paint I think your link mount would look and work pretty good on a scaler.

That was the idea I had for the scaler I'm getting ready to build for my son.

Thumbs up

Got mine the other day. Great fit and finish at a great price with quick shipping!.
I threw it on my SCX 10. With the stock rear lowers and Traxxas pushrods (part# 5319) the pinion is just slightly higher than stock. Shortened up the rear lowers a few mms and the pinion angle is perfect. I could've also thrown some longer 4mil rod ends on one end if I couldn't afford to shorten the WB. Just enough room all around for full flex if desired!
The stock AX10 lowers are just 1 milimeter shorter than the traxxas ones and would work great also. I had some but wanted steel instead of aluminum in back for weight. Paint the mount black, shave the posts off on the case and call it done!
Thanks again Reflection

Glad it worked out good for you. Would have got there 1 day quicker. My fault completely. Left work in a hurry, got all the way home and remembered I left it in my tool box at the shop.

I'm planning on building a scaler soon and am curious how this bracket changes performance. It's always worked great on the comp rigs I've put them on....apples to oranges though.
