This skidplate is made of Stainless steel to prevent rust and is a harder metal than other aluminum skid plates. Aluminum will gouge out on a sharp rock causing it to become a rough surface. That will make it harder for you to slide off when you high center on a rock. Also stainless will not dent as easily. Each piece is Waterjet cut to ensure a precise fit. Does a product equivalent to this one exist for the SCX10 skid plate? I would really be interested if it did exist! This is a very good idea!
