Nothing like a servo that is rated in FT-LBS. Lets see what that converts tooo..... 27 ft/lbs = 5184 oz/in and it can be yours for about $600. The smaller one rated at a measly 690 oz/in is about $200 Last edited by _BEN_; 01-15-2008 at 07:50 PM. |

A tad under 1300 oz-in, .....yeah that'd get the supers tires turning. I'm surprised it's not bigger though, only 2.95"x1.73"x3.1" and 10 ounces. You could actually fit that in a super or ..........my 1:6 scale ranger. |

A couple of years ago I was going to use one of those in a 1/3 scale hydro I was debating building. I found those servos at troybuiltmodels.com I had already lined up the 440 Kawasaki jet ski engine, figured that servo would operate the steering, but wasn't too sold on the idea of having to TOW a nine foot long, 5 foot wide RC boat to the lake. A BEC circuit wouldn't have been an issue. You can operate those off a 12V source. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 01-16-2008 at 10:06 AM. |
