Whats your point?
These have all obviously been decommisioned and made available for the public.
It's not that far off from buying a used car..

A used car you dont have to worry about some crazy ass buying, locking himself inside, and driving over cars in traffic..
I see what your saying about being decommisioned, I just think its kinda odd that they can do it.

That is a 548. We still use them. Got 6 in our motorpool. Pretty useless. We mount volcano mines on them to lay minefields. Pretty much broken all the time.

That Unimog looks awesome.

Maybe I need to get one with a front and rear PTO and tell my wife its our new lawn mower. A 10ft cutting edge would take care of that 1/2 acre front yard in a hurry.

When i was down in florida a few weeks ago visiting my grandparents, we drove past those things like 5+ times. Man are those sweet. I especially like the UniMog.

ok got info:

the benz mog:1973, low miles, benz v6 gas power, asking $15,000 w/trailer
he also has another mog with nato tires asking $13,500

gamma goat: 1968, vietnam era , asking $13,000

548 Tank: like new, 33miles or 6.7hrs, asking $30,000

the guy asid he drove both mog and gamma to the spot where i took pics and they both start and drive great... tank also starts and runs great...

The trucks I don't see a problem with.
That thing with the tank tracks. Reminds me of this.

That thinng is much slower and it does not have armor but I am sure some crazy drunk could do allot of damage with it.

That 548 isn't half as capable as that tank is.

That's a valid paranoia, I doubt that the 548 would still run and work.

Good point.
On the other hand , a drunk punk in a honda can hurt people also.
I think these might go to a museum of War vehicles.
