I have been trying to track down a complete first generation RC-10 in good shape.

That kit was fun to build. Using toothpaste to smooth out the gears, the wiper arm speedo, just good old fashioned old school build.

I've 4 linked a grasshopper rear end and used that. It was actualy a pumpkin but same thing. I must say that for a two wheel drive it did very well.

I bought a Stampede from Dirk for the tranny and installed my brushless in it and it is by far one of the most fun trucks I have played with. My friend that I bash RC's with is now hooked and building one. My Pede is faster then my friends Monster GT!

I need to buy another pede tranny because this Pede is staying as a runner!

Yeah I was not expecting it to be as fun as it is. I jumped it straight up in the air (by accident) and it landed upside down and died. The Novak 5800 ESC was in three peices so I snapped everything back together and it ran again. The truck is so light you really have to watch what you launch it off of.

Yup. I lightened everything possible on that truck but it's still really tough! It accelerates so quickly, it's hard not to just get crazy with the jumps!
