| 1/18th help
I'm looking to get a 1/18 electric truck. Right now I'm leaning towards the RC18mt, but i also like the mini lst. Any one have a preference, or could suggest another?

RC18 B/T/MT series are tough vehicles. If you can live with the somewhat sloppy steering that gets worse with abuse and wear, and understand the differential adjustments and shimming, they can handle some serious abuse. The open spur and motor pinion suck for outdoor use...I've used both of these to fix the open gear problem and the steering: http://www.drivenpro.net/index.php?s=store Might also check out Competition x for some info/tricks. They've got a whole section on these trucks: http://www.competitionx.com/Support/Sup1.html |

I've been looking around between the rc18b/t/mt and i really can't see any difference between bodies and tires, is there something i'm missing that makes the t 30 bucks cheaper then the mt?

MLSTs have crap for diffs and the stock tranny sucks too. I ran a brushless on mine and had alot of fun with it when the diffs werent stripped. Someday I'll put it back together with metal diffs and see how it holds up. |
