| 1:1 tire treadware question
I was discussing new 1:1 tires with my neighbor when I asked about treadware mileage of his new tires. He said he didn't know.I told him of the formula where you take the tire treadware number and multiply it by 200 and you will get the approximate mileage you should get out of that tire.Example.... 200 treadware x 200 = 40000 miles. He called BS.Just want to know if anyone has heard of this formula. My high school auto mechanics teacher taught us this formula.I have used it with several of my tires and its almost spot on.
