Default carpenter bad ass from back in the day!

this guy kicks ass!

http://www.dickproenneke.com/

It airs on PBS every now and then. Everytime i run across it i have to watch the entire show! this guy makes every contractor carpenter i know look like a 4year old cub scout...

during the show my jaws on the ground! this guys all, "I need a spoon so i can make some good size flap jacks...", proceeds to grab a friggin log and 30-40 min later... tada... a big ass spoon! Not to mention that he built his own tools to make his own true Log cabin from materials available.. a true relative bad ass!

Anyone else seen this?

and the damn thing would be like those bad science shows from high school had he not narrated it. I love the Moss roof and then the moss in ground permafrost fridge

Its amazing what he did.... its now considered nation park or state park grounds or something.

It was awesome, he brought all of the steel tool heads on a canoe and used a knife to carve the handles for the tools. Purely amazing work and an amazing person!

Wow, so I'm not the only one who has heard of him. I bought his book several months ago, a great read. Now I want to order the dvd.
