They get like 2 miles per gallon. Mike Tyson had one when he lived in Vegas and he always parked his out side his gate.

a long time ago in another life, i worked at a shop that repaired exotics (i was the parts weenie) and we regularly serviced one of those pigs. i seem to remember billing 12 quarts at every LOF, and when we had to replace the clutch we found our tranny jack wasn't anywhere near strong enough. manual says the tranny and transfer case (they come off the truck together) weighs 1100 pounds! we had to build a platform under it and lift the truck off the tranny.

i got to drive it a couple times, it rode rougher than my IH Scout but the exhaust note of 12 Italian cylinders was worth it.

oh, and the tires cost a grand apiece in 1996 dollars, they were 16 inches wide and maybe 36-38 diameter.

and yes, the guy who owned it was about 5 feet tall and could barely see over the dash.

Looks a damn sight better than an H2 though doesn't it?

not from the inside. inside it looked and felt like a big-*** rental car. the only thing it had going for it was the exhaust note.
