Default Separate TLT Section

I think it's time TLT's got their own section rather than being lumped in with the small scale, especially since most TLT's are modded up to 1/10 scale anyways. Just a thought.

I don't think that will happen, because most tlt's run 2.2 inch tires, which is considered small.

We are all going to laugh at you when you break your axles every 5 minutes.

its because only a few have tried it, and they all had breakage. i broke an axle case, an stub axle, and the axle shaft itself with maxx tires.... IN THE GRASS!!

the small scale forum is huge just because of the tlt. i dont think that it really needs a seperate forum though, because it has fused itself as the basis for smaller scale crawling. the only other popular small scale right now is the "venom" mini giant, or whoever is importing them right now. maybe if the bruiser started getting made again would the small scale need to be seperated out.

Because they break all the time with 2.2's, imagine how much stress the axles are going to see when you mount a 5.5"-6" wheels.

So my idea of running widened Kongs on my TLT is a bad idea?

The RC18MT should move those no problem. I mean the honda does, and look how much power they have.

Anyway, most posts in the small scale section are TLT related, and there are times when other trucks pop up. Because the TLT is uber popular and some of the other trucks aren't, I have no problem sharing space in the small scale forum with other trucks that come up, since it isn't all that often. Had PTI not screwed up with production, then we might've needed a split, but with no other small scale trucks on the horizon, I don't see the need to split until maybe another truck is released. I mean, why mess with a good thing?

so who would have to sift though the biggest subforum on here and find all posts not related to TLT so that they could be moved into a general small scale forum. that job would suck, even with the search feature.

i dont mind at all having the small scale forum the way it is right now.

but if anything it makes sense to have a 2.2 forum and then a smaller scale forum for the vmg and superslicks and whatnot.

Just some stock silver cans. I just took out the restrictor plate so the Red Dragon can breathe a little better. Keep it on the down low, not exactly street legal.
