Default Fishermen, Any Big Fish This Year ?

here are some of the larger fish we have caught this year so far.

me and a fresh water drum....



my nephew and a bowfin....



my friend and a carp....





i also caught my 1st walleye this season. i have pics just not uploaded to my computer yet.so far a good year for bullhead.

i havent been out for bass yet but soon.

No pics but I was able to reel in 37 white perch last weekend on grass shrimp. Ever notice that when your on a public pier and you start to catch some people start to swarm you on what you are using and crap. I had a guy steal my container full of grass shrimp, it took me another hour to go get more from the marina. Hope this thread stays active because this weekend were going after rockfish!

yup, my uncle lives down the road from there.

i do most of my fishing on cayuga lake/seneca river.

thats awesome. people bow fish down at the locks at the lake here.

so how did the carp taste ? ;)

I caught an eight inch blue crab today, its not a fish but it is something.


Thats a five gallon bucket, it covered the whole bottom of it, and first crab of the day!

I don't have any pictures but I just got back from our anual trip to brownly resevore in washington. I'm lucky enough to have an uncle that is a full time fishing guide, and over the past week we caught atleast 1000 crapie, about 15-20 catfish and 10 bass. alot more entertaining than salmon fishing like i'm used to.
