|  Some Simple PC Help Needed.
Hi guys hope you're having a nice American summer its at a melting point here already  .I have a couple of PC dilemmas as usual  . Language options ,for example everything in Japan turns to the Japanese version by default eventually then I have to manually try to find it and keep redirecting it to an American or British version Firefox was running in English until a week ago, it has started to run in Japanese... You Tube turns itself to You Tube Japan by default so I have to keep trying to find it and redirect it to English ....on and on Also I use some download engine plug ins for Firefox such as Flash Get and their menus also turned into Japanese .... Is there some way to prevent this annoying thing from happening? |

I would personally just do a fresh install if you have the disk. When was the last time you reformatted and started over? I love a fresh copy of windows in the morning. Make sure when installing to select english.

you might want to go into you control panal and check you regional and language default settings. i use to mess w/ my roommates comp when he'd leave it unlocked. nothing like seein him sweat trying to print out a term paper in arabic 10 minutes before its due  |

 ,I wish it was as simple as choosing in the Language Options ...I think its some kinds of Japan default command that's being sent through my provider If there is an option such as the adult site filter that automatically chooses which websites your PC can not reach that might work but I don't think there is a way to customize which region your websites are coming from....:-( It's like this ; Imagine that you typed in "You Tube" in your Google search ,in the US you would get the US Google which is the one you want whilst I will get the "You Tube Japan" and even if I tried to choose the US site it will automatically redirect itself to the Japan version My Windows XP is an English version too in a net surrounded by Widows XP's Japan Versions ...so they don't have any non Japanese options LOL and turn everything into Japanese Worst is stuff like Download search engines ...after a while they even just switch to Japanese so even if you remove the software from PC and reinstall they can not be switched back to English so you are screwed .... | |
