It is a Manta Ray. 16.5' isn't a rare size by any means.............and the 3300lb claim is a bit high.

Well... Jaws started my life long fear of the open seas... and now this SHITE

I like the ocean, but I feel like if you get eaten by a shark you deserve it. They would not have eaten you if you were not in the ocean.
