Yep Gotcha is very cool. I have it setup to transfer the images to a web server and had a page that would display the last 10 images in a row.

Anything over 20pfs will work fine.

I wanted a PC based system but I don't think my comp will handle it. I need a video card like a NVIDIA 6200 or higher.Problem is that those cards are PCIe and my comp is PCI.Can't seem to find a PCI card that will work without spending $$ on a card. |
You do not need a fancy video card to use Gotcha and either a USB cam or another camera with a analog to digital converter. I'm using a P3 600 Mhz PC with a built in Intel video card on the mother board (about as shitty as you can get) and it has been working for years.
Even if you get a fancier setup where the camera feed into a video capture card, you still don't need a brand new PC for it. The video capture card will do the processing.
If you use a PC web cam, they will obviously not see anything at night so you would need to install some motion detection lights to provide the lighting when someone walks into the video frame.
