| Tropical Fish ??
anyone into tropical fish ? i just finished cleaning my 50 gallon tank. i have had the set up for about idk 10 years. rite now i have : 1 premadella cat fish about 7 years old 6" long 1 white belly catfish about 4 years old and 3" long 3 goramies, two are blue pearl and one is bright orange. really pretty fish. orange one is about 4 1/2" while the two blue ones are about 3 1/2" 4 tiger barbs, two are orange and black and the other two are emerald green.ranging from 3/4" to 1 1/2" 3 silver fish, i forgot what their names are but are tetras. small look like a minnow with a black line over their eyes and black fins about 1" - 2" long 1 calico placosomus. i hardly ever see this fish. about 2" long 2 red tetras. about 1 inch l;long. had 4 but catfish ate two. ill try to get some pics but its tough getting good pics through glass.sorry for the spelling error on the fishes names. |

Once I get a house I will start a tropical fish set up again. I had one growing up and it stayed with my dad, I really enjoyed it.

ive got a 54 gallon corner tank, with cichlids. built the stand and hood myself used arylic mirror for a backdrop. came out bad ass. but the last few years its been taken over by the red-peacocks, damn things hump like crazy. i discovered 2 new babies last week filled with walmart sand, and real(dead) fiji coral fishies |

Nice looking tank A couple of the corals and the hollowed conk shell in our tank. I brought home from the Bahamas when we got married there. Coral is a nice touch to any tank |

Used to have a 125 plexi with 7 Red Bellied Pacus. They got about 7" in diameter. Bad ass fish. Ate dog food sized pellets and 4" feeders like no ones business. I can't wait to do up another. Last edited by FrankyRizzo; 10-29-2008 at 10:38 AM. |
