Default Losi mini vs 2.2...you decide!

I sometimes read people writing about how their losi mini crawler is taking 2.2 lines. In my own experience my Losi has done lines that my 2.2 cannot and my 2.2 can do things the Losi can't even touch. But how do we really know? This is a little test I threw together for the people here and you guys can pick. Which one is the champion? Losi mini or 2.2...you decide.

Am I missing it? How is it a test? I thought you'd show the two different rigs taking (or trying to take) the same lines?

Great footage, (defying gravity) and it definitely shows the capability of both trucks, but not necessarily one against the other.

Like I said, am I missing something?

You aren't missing anything. It is just a compilation of 2.2 and mini footage presented as a way for people to get a feel for the differences. It isn't to be taken to seriously, just enjoyed.

Great video and some awesome rides! Hard to compare a 2.2 to the little guy as far as capability. All I know is the MRC is cheap, capable, and hella fun!

The price for the capability and fun is why I love mine. I have a touch over $300 into my truck, and I would have no problem showing up at a comp with it. I changed shocks, tires and moved some weight around and the truck is crawling things in the wet that the stock truck couldn't touch in the dry.

My mini during the time of the video, was all stock parts, I just relocated the battery and dropped the body down a little, stock wheels, ect.
The way my mini is currently set up with new tires, wheels, shocks and a dna mini slingshot on the way, I would think this flick would look very different if I shot the video currently. Looks like I need to make an updated vid. These little crawlers perform well and are cheap to build in comparison to the 2.2s.

I would want to see them both at normal speed to compare.

I would say about 80% of these clips were shot at normal speed. Of course some are in slow mode, but the majority of both the losi and 2.2 are in normal speed.

It is a Trost Tuber. You can check him in the vendor section under Trost.
