Default RC Muscle Cars

I went to the LHS and picked a set of 2.2 moabs, which are awesome. But before I left I also grabbed the HPI Shelby Mustang and their vintage wheels and tires.

So I was wondering if anyone else had any muscle car type projects that they have done, if so lets see them.

User Kingcobra has a really nice Camaro. There's a picture on here somewhere I think. You can look for his name, then all posts by him, and you might find it.

That Charger reminds me of the one from the original fast and furious movie. Those shelby stang bodies from Hpi are awsome looking. I been thinkin of gettin the Pantera. Love them cars.

Here's modern Muscle car, hpi saleen stang I painted up. Took a long time To paint all this but I was pleased with the outcome. It's on a Hpi Pro3 TC. 26mm tires front, 35mm tires rear. Wheels are all 24mm but I widened the rears. Gotta finish smoothing them and get em re-chromed one of these days.

that's exactly what i was going for... i have the whole f & f thing going on...

i have the:
charger
supra
skyline
rx7
eclipse

that stang is sweet.. i did sort of the same widening trick with the pro street clod.. except i used stampede rims in the rear and cut up tamiya 5 spokes to fit inside.. hpi road rages make sweet street tires

as for getting your wheels chromed.. there's a place i found called paul's chrome (maybe phils chrome) in pennsylvania. i wanted to have a whole e-maxx completely chromed .. i mean every single thing, even the wires.. (called chrom-e-maxx for all you project stealers out there.. i thought of it first).. i asked him if he could do deans plugs and he said that he could chrome plastic, but it might flake off if hit real hard.. i think it's paulschrome.com >edit: yes it is<

thanks for the compliments guys

i got a pretty sweet Camaro body. i didnt paint it but the guy who did was great with an airbrush. the flames look amazing in sunlight. i barely run it on my Nitro TC3 because i don't wanna scratch it up.

I would like a hemi coupe, but don't really need one.

This started as a Parma car, I don't even remember which one:

and the see ya later view:

Thats a parma Superbird, I wish I could find another one of those bodies.

the XXX-S is a good car, but it's no longer competitive with the likes of X-Ray, HPI's Pro4, and Losi's JRX-S. get one of those if you want to run at the front of the pack.
