| Need help with sound system Ok so i need to wire up a sound system with 8 or so speakers and the guy would like to use electrical cord if possible. BTW this is for the Milestone Mx rc track. My math told me that id draw to much with 8 speaker all on one channel but ip probably wrong if you can help me i greatly appreciate it. here is what im working with how can i make it work (i can do a car but i really dont want to mess this thing up) here is the apmlifier. Speco PL200m and the speakers being used |

If you wire it "series parallel" you will be able to run it off 1 channel just fine. and by 1 channel im assuming left and right? 8- 8ohm speakers 4 left and 4 right. wire 2 in series and 2 in series, parallel the 2 pairs will be 8 ohms. thats 4 speakers and an 8 ohm load. i hope that makes sense. |

their is no left or right sorry i didn't describe what i meant by channel the channel being the 4 separate outputs i have to work with. I do understand what you mean though as far as hooking it up id run the wires on the grnd, 75v and 330 Ohm 15w taps right? |

honestly, completely disregard anything i had to say, I was looking at this like it was simple impedance in/outs to make sure nothing was overloaded, and the amp wasnt running at an impedance to low.. I would contact the manufacture of the amp and see how the speakers should be wired. I wouldnt want to see anything get blown up!!!! |
