| Question for jeep guys
Will an engine from a 92 cherokee swap directly into a 94? I would have both complete trucks, both are i6, automatics, 4x4. I would like to swap as completely as possible, but could do just a long block swap if that would work.

I don't thinks so. The EFI systems are different, so the ECU's are different also. If you can get the complete '94 engine, wiring harness, ECU, and EFI, that would be doable. Much better fuel system too |

The 91-96 motors were all the same...and used all the same Chrysler injection systems. This was done when they updated the I6 to the "high output". It was only '90 models and prior that had the old Renix injection. Between the 92 & 94 should also share the same open cooling system and I believe the same braking system (for vacuums' sake). |
