| Any Dirt Oval guys in the SouthEast?
Local buddy (Chris Mize) opened up what many say is the nicest outdoor dirt oval track in the country. If you're in the area, he's having a "Halloween Havoc" race the 29th at 6PM. More here: http://dirtoval.com/forums/showthrea...8&page=1&pp=25 |

I ran inro a guy in huntsville that had an electric latemodel and a nitro sprint car. they looked awsome. They run in winchester Tn every weekend. He said they were super fast and definately a handful.

I used to run a dirt oval when I lived in Waco TX. I ran an RC10GT. Mostly stock. It's a lot of fun, and it's fast. 40 laps in minutes average. We ran offroad one night and oval the next. I used the same set up for both. It's pretty cool to go sliding off into those corners, hit full throttle, and pull wheelies in the straights.

They says the sprint cars are hooking up so hard on pink foams that they're on 3 tires for a large portion of the track. Rubber tires squeal. |
