| My New(to me) Zuki
This is why I was selling off my stuff. Got a good deal on a 88 JX. It runs really strong too. The only thing I have found is a vacuum leak that was easily fixed, and a squirrel was living in the airbox. It does need a new shifter bolt, but thats the only thing. I don't have many pictures right now. I worked on cleaning up the interior after work tonight. its looking really good, I'll get some pics tomorrow. My plans for it, in no particular order fix front bumper spray fender flares, front and rear bumper black Powder coat the rims white loose the light gaurds ABS interior panels shifter bolt bed line the floor and a bunch of other little interior stuff to make it a comfortable daily driver and weekend wheeler. I'm going to run it stock for a while, but a locker, 31's, and a spring over is in the future. Insurance on this thing is awesome too, its just so cheap Oh, and I love the 5 speed, never felt so connected to the car before Last edited by Shaun; 06-15-2009 at 09:16 PM. |

Thanks guys. Started cleaning it up a little bit. still need to clean the floor. I think it looks better with out the light gaurds Removed the plow(hitch), like I'm ever going to tow a trailer with this thing Cleaned up the interior, havn't got the floors yet. The worst part was the bed, it had about a 1/8th inch of dried blood on it, which was really nasty to clean up. The previous owner used it for hunting. |

Nice Suzukis. Here's the shifter bolt. Painted the flares today, spent a little over 2 hours sanding each one, not something I feel like doing again. |

Nice Samurais Went wheelin today, in Gruber. rollmebackover let me borrow his skid, which I used alot. Installed 2" shackles(more like rock feelers than shackles), it leveled the truck out, I also pulled the front bumper so I didn't trash it, I plan on getting a shrockworks bumper soon, or finding someone to build one. It sucks how this picture turned out, this hill was actually really technical, but in the picture it just looks like a dirt road. Heres a few other pictures. |

I did the first body damage to it today, going for a polycarbonate windshield next, I'm going to try and pull out most of the dent. The only part I'm pissed off about is ripping my brand new best top bikini top I just got for it. Also if anyone knows where I can find the plastic strip that goes on top of the windshield frame that the top clips into, I would appreciate it. Heres a pic I grabbed of it flexed out a few days ago though its changed since then, I mounted my tag where the spare was and the spare is in the bed, were building a tire mount for it that will mount the tire at an angle and have storage under it. | |

Haven't up dated this in a while. Only one wiper, one of the studs were twisted off, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. Atleast it was just the passenger side. |

Work goin on. Got the axles out tonight. Gotta clean them up and weld the perches tomorrow, also have to weld the shock mounts. I really hope to get them back under the truck tomorrow night, but not sure that will happen. Z-link is temporary I will be doing a full high steer in the next couple of months. And 2:10am |
