Who cares if the fireman knows how rare the car is. It's not like he drove the tanker on top of it or wanted to roll the thing. Oh and congratulations on your ability to post a link. |

Wow I'd be majorly heart broken if that happened to one of my cars. The cost of replacing that car's really gunna put a dent in the fire departments insurance.

Damn, that sucks for the Firebird, but hey.. look at the bright side, at least a firefighter didn't die in what could have been a really horrible crash...

Id have pounded the piss out of the SOB, plain and simple, then own his ass till it was paid off, in full. Too bad it wasn't a dime a dozen Camaro or Pustang. Shame it was a uncommon Bird. Not like there is a bird at every car show or strreet corner, like Camaros and F'n Pustangs |

It's a shame that the Firebird got squished, but I'm amazed by how well that tanker held up in the wreck!

wow, unfotunately, narrow back roads and big trucks DO NOT go well together. secondly... Quote:
it's not like the guy driving that truck thought, "Hmmmm, maybe i'll roll this truck down this hill and squash the classic firebird down in that driveway.." trust me, i HAVE BEEN in a firetruck when it rolls over, it is not fun, and something you do not do on purpose, or want to experience more than once in your lifetime, EVER... and from reading the article, the guy that owned the firebird kind of sounds like one, too. you almost get the impression he is more upset about losing his car, than the fact someone could of lost their life.... that's cause it as a Pierce, which is a division of the OshKosh truck company. honestly, the firefighter is lucky it wasn't a P.O.S. Freightliner/American LaFrance... Last edited by STEEL_CITY_CRAWLER; 06-21-2009 at 07:34 AM. | |
